Dr. Sanjay Pandya is a senior nephrologist based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (Internal Medicine) degree from M. P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat 1986. He subsequently completed his DNB in Nephrology at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Center, Ahmedabad, in 1989. Since 1990, Dr. Pandya has been dedicated to practicing as a nephrologist in Rajkot, Gujarat.
Driven by his passion for education, Dr. Pandya authored and published the pioneering book titled "Practical Guidelines on Fluid Therapy," which marked the first Indian publication on fluid, electrolytes, and acid-base disorders. Dr. Pandya is widely recognized as a proficient educator on this subject.
Over the course of two decades, Dr. Pandya's book has garnered remarkable acclaim and tremendous success. His unwavering commitment continues to provide comprehensive, up-to-date, and evidence-based practical information on fluid therapy and related topics. To fulfill this dream, the latest fully revised and rewritten third edition (2024) has been prepared to benefit medical professionals and students alike.
